Mimi's Fruits Cake

I havent written a recipe for long time, the reason is simple, I was out of Germany for 6 months working in Tokyo japan.. so i had no good kitchen nor oven... but im back, later Ill share some pictures.. but in the meanwhile, I will share with you this recipe that a very good friend of mine, Mimi, shared with me -thanks! Mimi-... I tasted this cake and was delicious.. here im sharing it with you.

Ingredients
130 gr, non salted butter
100 gr, sugar
2 pieces, egg
20gr almond powder (to be sincere, i used more :) but dont know how much (^^), but I love almond flavour)
110gr, flour
2.5 gr, baking powder (like an spoon)
2.5 gr, cinnamon powder
Dried fruits with rum (raisin, orange peel, apricot, plum, walnuts etc)

-Tip!.. you can buy the fruits with rum already in the package, but ni this case the best or my favourite is to do it by myself.. so you can mix the dried fruits and nuts as you wish... and the longer the time they stay in Rum.. the more flavour they get.

Instructions. Time: 10mins preparation + 40mins baking
1. Stir the butter, until it gets soft, then add the sugar and mix completely...
2. Break eggs and add slowly the eggs until all is well mixed.
3. Add almond powder, four ... keep mixing.
4. At the end add the dried fruits with rum.
5. Pre-heat the oven at 170°C
6. Pour the mix in a rectangular container , aprox. 5x10x5
7. Put into the oven, and it will take between 40 to 45 minutes.
And thats all!... it takes no more than 15 mins... and while preparing dinner you can be baking your dessert... to share with coffee, and delicious amaretto..mm....
Enjoy!
